If, although unrealistic, we convinced everyone to not pay taxes, how would government respond?(self)

If we convinced everyone to minimize their withholding to the maximum amount they could, and then come tax day nobody did it what do you think the government would do?

Why not be more realistic? Too many folks are retarded brainwashed sheeple. There are many who aren't. Pretend just they stop instead.

Timeline? Does this happen all on one day? Over a year? Several?

How is everyone on board? Media campaign? "Secret" communications and meetings? The logistics are daunting. Especially with speed. And the counter-signal would be formidable. We'd need to have a message as big as the COVID propaganda - AND have the ability to censor and fight the official narrative - including the fallout after the action. Clarity and simplicity can only get you so far in the confusing fog of psy-war.

If the ruling class can have the government tell banks to freeze accounts of Ottawa truckers, they could do so much much much more.

The question is, how many "law enforcers" would just follow orders and how many would resist?

The ensuing chaos would never be focused on the ringleaders. Customers would blame businesses and/or each other and everyone, innocent or guilty, would suffer.

What is the answer or conversation you expect?

Because hypotheticals are fun.

Also my premise is a little over specific because I realized if everyone stopped paying taxes the first round of violators would be sales tax rather than income tax.

So this is the alternate question. Businesses, all businesses, stop all tax related payments to the government (sales tax, withholdings, property tax). Every single business in the country. What would the government do?
