What's really crazy is that like 90% of Japan's population was on meth at one point, with only rare problems from it. The problem is that the people who do meth are exactly the people who shouldn't. But if it was available to the broader public, most people would tolerate it fine. If you know how to do stimulent moderation then you know how to do stimulent moderation. Simple as. But because caffine is available the only people who would do step up to meth despite the legal risks are people who clearly aren't able to do stimulent moderation.

Coca Cola had cocaine in it but removed it in 1903, why? Cocaine became illegal in 1914. Cuz it was so addictive and bad for you?

Cocaine comes from coca leaves and coca leaves are still used in Coca Cola, but they started using the spent leaves in 1904, the leftovers of cocaine extraction. What do they do with the leftover cocaine? Sell it to mallinckrodt, a pharma company,.

So it's like how they started using high fructose corn syrup instead of sugar, just money reasons.
