Agora (Greek) is an open place for markets and people to assemble for
various purposes, like a town square.
Agorism
- Social philosophy advocating creating a society with voluntary
exchanges and relations between people via aspects of
counter-economics and nonviolent revolution.
Do-ocracy
- An organizational structure in which individuals choose roles and
tasks for themselves and execute them wherein responsibilities attach
to people who do the work, rather than elected or selected officials. - http://Projex.Wiki/wiki/Do-ocracy
FOEPATCHISM
- Fair, Open, Ethical, Peaceful, Accountable, Transparent, Consistent,
Honest, Inclusive Social Management - for collaborators, communities,
families, governments, groups, homes, organizations, social media,
societies, teams, workplaces, etc. "Foe" = enemy; "patch" = correction. - http://Projex.Wiki/wiki/FOEPATCHISM
Libertas = autonomy, freedom, sovereignty.
Phylaxis
- (medical) The protection against infection.
- (defensive) Guarding against cultural destruction, cyber warfare,
ideological subversion, malicious infiltration, medical tyranny,
political corruption, psychological operations, wealth theft, and
weaponized migration.
Voluntaryism
- Peaceful life without rulers, yet with social rules.
- The common sense idea that all forms of human association should be voluntary...
with the assertion that any act of violence [or coercion] other than self defense,
whether by an individual or organization, is illegitimate and unlawful. - Voluntary interactions - without rulers rather than supporting and suffering
under mafia governments and corporatocracy's monopoly on violence.
This includes what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own wallets,
bedrooms, bodies, businesses, and communities. - http://Projex.Wiki/wiki/Meaningful_liberty#Voluntaryism

Legitimately pisses me off that when I paid for ad-free on Prime, they just replaced product placement with adverts for Prime videos and Prime TV series. Stopped paying immediately. Over advertising is what led to me no longer watching YouTube, what's the actual point of watching a 5 minute video if there are 2 minutes of ads?
I might not mind if they said it's happening whether you like it or not - BUT - you can choose what ads you see. Then you could be informed/amused/coerced as you prefer.
Speaking of ads, I saw an interesting one. It used the phrase "free after subscription." Well I hope so. Then I realized, 3/4th of the content is paid after subscribing to prime.
So now you pay after you pay and see ads.
Though this isn't really a modern trend. Newspapers and magazines did it first. And television in general.
The Radio did it before Television.
But did you have to pay for radio? I guess I should have said cabel. That is ads on things you've paid for.
Back in the 80s and 90s, we had premium channels on cable that were ad-free like HBO and Showtime.
Time is money so if we listen to an ad we're wasting our time. We'll do it if there's nothing else to do and the next song on the radio will probably be great, that's how it used to be. Everything starts cool then gets enshittified.
I want my Walkman back, I got my cassette tapes in a box in the basement. No ads, no bullshit just AA batteries replaced every once in a while.
I've got lots of boxes of old stuff, records, cassettes, CDs, vhs, dvds. I use internet and pirating a lot for convenience but I'm not throwing physical media out. Also, I have a lot of sports magazines I got when I was a teen. Those I might throw out.
Don't throw any Playboy magazines out, they are worth some money to collectors. My father had them, but someone stole them from our basement before he could sell them.
I've still got a couple lying around, one with Erika Eleniak from Baywatch. Classic.
Oh yeah I do have a lot of those. And hustler. My sports magazines are sports illustrated and ESPN, not worth much. Just sentimentally.
Great - subscription rates should be 100x what we they are now. Read books instead.
