== Critical concepts ==
Agora (Greek) is an open place for markets and people to assemble for
various purposes, like a town square.
Agorism
- Social philosophy advocating creating a society with voluntary
exchanges and relations between people via aspects of
counter-economics and nonviolent revolution.
Do-ocracy
- An organizational structure in which individuals choose roles and
tasks for themselves and execute them wherein responsibilities attach
to people who do the work, rather than elected or selected officials. - http://Projex.Wiki/wiki/Do-ocracy
FOEPATCHISM
- Fair, Open, Ethical, Peaceful, Accountable, Transparent, Consistent,
Honest, Inclusive Social Management - for collaborators, communities,
families, governments, groups, homes, organizations, social media,
societies, teams, workplaces, etc. "Foe" = enemy; "patch" = correction. - http://Projex.Wiki/wiki/FOEPATCHISM
Libertas = autonomy, freedom, sovereignty.
Phylaxis
- (medical) The protection against infection.
- (defensive) Guarding against cultural destruction, cyber warfare,
ideological subversion, malicious infiltration, medical tyranny,
political corruption, psychological operations, wealth theft, and
weaponized migration.
Voluntaryism
- Peaceful life without rulers, yet with social rules.
- The common sense idea that all forms of human association should be voluntary...
with the assertion that any act of violence [or coercion] other than self defense,
whether by an individual or organization, is illegitimate and unlawful. - Voluntary interactions - without rulers rather than supporting and suffering
under mafia governments and corporatocracy's monopoly on violence.
This includes what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own wallets,
bedrooms, bodies, businesses, and communities. - http://Projex.Wiki/wiki/Meaningful_liberty#Voluntaryism
Ivan the Terrible.
Fair enough. I threw it into my todo for tomorrow.
What the hell does any of this even mean? What is going on here? What sort or retarded autism herding is being conducted here behind closed doors?
When you post something you can choose to post it now or "post whenever". If you choose the latter, your post goes into a queue which uses (some unknown mechanic) to figure out when it gets posted. There is even a url where you can see your "whenever" posts that are still coming up. The only problem is, if you are logged out of the website, you can see the full content of everyone's posts on the whenever queue.
What is the point of this?
Improve the site until normal people find it acceptable and run us off.
How does waiting for your post to post improve the site?
Oh, as far as I can tell the post whenever feature is helpful for when you want to dump a bunch of stuff into the site all at once but have it drip into the feed slowly. It’s also just kind of fun.
It also helped when the site was slower to make sure there was never an off day. Now that the site is more consistently active it isn't necessary. But it played a big part in getting the site health to a point where growth could happen. Otherwise we would have been locked in the slow period forever. Now that it is less needed I may reduce the incentive points.
You should make this obvious then. Don't confuse new users.
I'll include a paragraph within the button.
