Also, is there really anything in here specifically? The dude basically ran a meetup org not unlike the ones I or JC runs. Just with more important people. Palentir is doing bad things. But we have jucier details on that already. Juicier than the idea that important people like to network with exclusively other important people.

Palentir is building both automated war systems and domestic mass survailance. Yawn.
Corporation people are having meetings with other corporation folks in their corporation buildings. This is proof of evil.

It is interesting and important to know for understanding how the peices fit. But I find it crazy that this is treated as a controvercy itself. And Palentir having run software in Israel that coordinated the genocide also running the same software stack here and giving it to police forces isn't the smoking gun.

Yes, great points. I think part of what we do when we look at these meetings is to 'follow the money', which doesn't happen enough. We learn from that the roots of government corruption, the reasons for deregulation, why housing is now so expensive, why wages have been stagnant for decades while productivity increased considerably and money has been hoarded by a few of the wealthiest people. A normal capitalist society would have checks and balances. The current late capitalist structure supports extreme income inequality, whereby politicians are in the pockets of a few wealthy people and nations (eg. Israel, Russia &c).
