Europe all has high taxes I think this is fake news.

But brain business is concentrating where taxes are lowest in Europe. Also Europe is way behind the US in tech. And also behind China. So your point just adds to the claim. Europe has generally high taxes, and a small tech sector. Lowest taxed areas in Europe are where what little tech they have is concentrated.

Europe has higher taxes than USA and is smarter than USA? Of course there is a difference in demographics that explain that. I think the rich just don't want to pay taxes so put out this fake news. This article writers don't really care about the intelligence of people.

That is the opposite of what I said. The US has lower taxes and has more tech work. Parts of Europe have lower taxes than other parts and have more tech work relative to the rest of Europe.

It makes sense. Tech's highest cost is personnel. When you tax someone, you actually tax everyone in the supply chain. So if you pay higher employment taxes your employer is sharing some of that burden. The ratio is fixed by elasticity of supply vs elasticity of demand. So tech companies that have high labor costs are going to go where they get taxed the least. A tax on an employee is a tax on an employer, and a tax on an employer is a tax on an employee. We all share tax burden whether we like it or not.

The article here says that

It's all about how Europe has low taxes and smarter workers, neither are true.

They should do a study on this for USA.

No. It's about how places with comparatively lower taxes in Europe have comparatively smarter workers for Europe.

For example, this is fake news: trying to justify not counting high taxes smartest country Sweden:

The best example of this is that, while Sweden has the highest share of adults who are engineers and scientists, the share of adults who are employed in brain business jobs specifically is ranked third highest among European countries, since not all engineers and scientists are employed in knowledge-intensive roles. Switzerland has, in all versions of the brain business jobs index, been ranked first, and Ireland has, during recent years, outpaced Sweden to second.

They directly addressed that. While Sweden has the largest number of people educated in tech, they have cucked themselves from having tech jobs in the country needed by those graduates. So they have a large number people people with engineering degrees without engineering jobs.

The engineering jobs end up concentrated in smaller low tax areas like Switzerland.

Ireland is a great case where they are one of the few places in Europe with less taxes than the US and managed to pull tech jobs away from the US as a result.

The whole point of that paragraph you read is that Sweden can't even rank number one for tech jobs despite having the most people trained in it.
