But not all the rich are parasites. Some of them make money by doing productive things. But others of them make money by printing it and lending it out to others, then selling the morgage bundles to investors, thus laundering the money they printed for themselves.

There are poor doers and poor parasites. There are rich doers and there are rich parasites. For those of us who aren't parasites we really need to start dividing the world between doers/providers vs parasites rather than rich vs poor.

It can cause a depression? Why would we allow it then? Outlaw all gambling. I say this even as I just made a lot when nvidia doubled. Because my profit won't help much with a depression full of inflation. I'd be richer with a good economy.

There would be no saving investments for retirement then, no 401Ks no IRAs, etc. People couldn't invest for their future anymore. Then the market doesn't grow and businesses go bankrupt because they can't sell stocks anymore.

Do you like $ 5-a-gallon and up gas prices? Everything needs to be delivered using fossil fuels, which increases the cost of food and other things. Under your theory, everyone is poor and can't afford food and housing. They are homeless and shitting in the streets.

As long as they don't work in the finance or government sector, if they are wealthy (rather than high income), it is because they produce more than they consume. They are by definition not a parasite. While someone who works and consumes every dollar he gets is really net neutral.
