And every normal Saiditor who knows you absolutely appreciates it. And sending m7 a heads-up email or text message at this stage might only give more hostages to fortune. No good deed goes unpunished and all that. I'd argue, however, that you've created a meaningful legacy that has engaged many people, and that a minimal intervention might allow for its restoration.

I agree, except for the restoration.

(Though I would support the idea of a permanent SaidIt.net backup-archive for truth-seeker historical purposes that folks can reference, search, etc. even if it's not interactive.)

SaidIt needs to die because M7's ugly ego won't give it up nor allow the community autonomy and self-direction. And much of the lazy community don't even recognize their own enslavement. Also look up sunk-cost-fallacy.

It's better to support x0x7 who is actually doing something about it all.

M7 was annoyed that it was taken over by far right types. He noted he didn't expect that to happen.

My comments to you aren't about me. Doesn't matter what I think. It's just what I'd do if I could do it. I'd send m7 a note and if I built it I'd want it to survive, and it's good to help people.

Back in 2018 it was clear that the refugees from Reddit were landing on SaidIt:

Nothing has changed on this front. And that's why it's critical NOW to try to steer and define the SaidIt/GoatMatrix community at this critical formidable state. M7 was/is a piss poor "leader". He's had YEARS of opportunity to help the community or turn things around. Don't hope or expect for anything from that failure.

It does matter what you think, as well as what everyone in the community thinks. Communications are the only way to effectively change minds to resist tyranny and improve the world.
