Not really.

Depends how you define it.

The alchemists concealed their knowledge in esoteric language.

The pursuit of turning lead into gold, was purifying the person into a higher state of being.

They couldnt just say what they were up to, because elevating ones self is power.

Esoteric messages are written between the lines in the wiki article.

De natura rerum (1537) outlines Paracelsus' method for creating homunculi:

That the sperm of a man be putrefied by itself in a sealed cucurbit for forty days (fasting) with the highest degree of putrefaction in a horse's womb ["venter equinus", meaning "warm, fermenting horse dung"[3]], or at least so long that it comes to life and moves itself, and stirs, which is easily observed. After this time, it will look somewhat like a man, but transparent, without a body. If, after this, it be fed wisely with the Arcanum of human blood, and be nourished for up to forty weeks, and be kept in the even heat of the horse's womb, a living human child grows therefrom, with all its members like another child, which is born of a woman, but much smaller.

The fully grown (reborn individual emerged) homunculus was supposedly greatly skilled in "art" and can create giants, dwarves, and other marvels, as "Through art they are born, and therefore art is embodied and inborn in them, and they need learn it from no one."

Carl Jung's works amount to a deciphering of the alchemical.

The gold is your true self reborn.

And you are correct.. mcconnel is not a literal homunculus.

He's a political meat sak.

A living political token, which certain specific duties are attached to.

I doubt he knows what's going on around him.

That must feel frightening.

Source tweet:

Senator McConnell was just wheeled out a little after 4 p.m. to head to his office ahead of the 5:30 p.m. roll call vote. He appeared somewhat confused by the rain and showed a delayed response, but still gave no verbal acknowledgment.

How is this of any actual interest?
I won't care if he suffers.
Fuck that guy.

The thing is that he votes in this state (actually his handlers of course).

P.S. My interest is just in how American democracy deteriorates nowadays - he has people who voted for him, he's supposed to represent them, and who is actually representing them? His handlers?
