Ranking Whiskies(self)
5 commentsbyx0x7

I'm not one to encourage much drinking. But if you are doing it you might as well know what's good and what isn't. Problem is there are so many brands of whisky/whiskey that no one could really know beyond what they've tried. So we crowd source. This was a tough poll to make. How much to include every variant in a brand vs letting a brand be known for its most common variant or average. I split it up a bit haphazardly. Also I may have missed things, whilst including the really obscure. Anyways it's a poll. Have fun with it.

If you need to demand that something is in the poll please do and I'll add it.

Captain Morgan 100. Same price but 100 proof.

I bought Canadian Hunter in Texas because it is so funny. They don't sell that in Ontario, nor have I seen it in Canada.

Wolfhead whiskey is good. This morning they had a tent at our farmers' market.

I like cinnamon whiskey, like Fireball, but find it's too sweet and sticky - and not a high proof.

Captain Morgan is a rum.

I'll add this a bit later.

looks at the bottle of Canadian Hunter he got for movie night
I'm partial to this, since I don't want to pay for Crown Royal.
Though if I had stupid money, I'd have Crown Vanilla on hand at all times.

I liked Tullamore Dew (Irish) and Grant's (Scotch) of those I tried. Didn't hear about listed ones :)
