Agora (Greek) is an open place for markets and people to assemble for
various purposes, like a town square.
Agorism
- Social philosophy advocating creating a society with voluntary
exchanges and relations between people via aspects of
counter-economics and nonviolent revolution.
Do-ocracy
- An organizational structure in which individuals choose roles and
tasks for themselves and execute them wherein responsibilities attach
to people who do the work, rather than elected or selected officials. - http://Projex.Wiki/wiki/Do-ocracy
FOEPATCHISM
- Fair, Open, Ethical, Peaceful, Accountable, Transparent, Consistent,
Honest, Inclusive Social Management - for collaborators, communities,
families, governments, groups, homes, organizations, social media,
societies, teams, workplaces, etc. "Foe" = enemy; "patch" = correction. - http://Projex.Wiki/wiki/FOEPATCHISM
Libertas = autonomy, freedom, sovereignty.
Phylaxis
- (medical) The protection against infection.
- (defensive) Guarding against cultural destruction, cyber warfare,
ideological subversion, malicious infiltration, medical tyranny,
political corruption, psychological operations, wealth theft, and
weaponized migration.
Voluntaryism
- Peaceful life without rulers, yet with social rules.
- The common sense idea that all forms of human association should be voluntary...
with the assertion that any act of violence [or coercion] other than self defense,
whether by an individual or organization, is illegitimate and unlawful. - Voluntary interactions - without rulers rather than supporting and suffering
under mafia governments and corporatocracy's monopoly on violence.
This includes what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own wallets,
bedrooms, bodies, businesses, and communities. - http://Projex.Wiki/wiki/Meaningful_liberty#Voluntaryism

Amazing how he starts with flimsy boards and finishes with a state of the art ship.
Almost everything strong starts off flimsy.
(except for CNC machining)
I've been watching people make projects like this one for a long time now.
Maybe it's time to do more than watch....
I guess it's neat.
Why glorify the military industrial complex?
What does he do with it after?
What's the point?
IMO it's a waste of talent, time, energy, and resources.
I'm personally fascinated by the hardware, and in awe of the people that live on the floating cities and keep them running. I love planes and ships, so when they meet it's beautiful to me.
A long time ago there was controversy about a carrier or something in SF - that IIRC was owned by Google, intended to stay permanently at sea. Not sure exactly why or what happened to that.
Also, the reason why Gitmo can get away with shit is because it's not US soil (as if they really need that excuse). So it's been often postulated that they'd have floating prisons, secret or not. I mention one in my Bittersweet Seeds screenplay. They had one in an Avengers movie or few.
I've loved the idea of peaceful sustainable beautiful floating cities (often featured on the old TreeHugger.com (is now shit) and design sites), but I think war machines are ugly on many levels.
I've thought as lot about this comment, for the past couple of days.
While I am not in favor of violence as a first-resort tactic, I have to acknowledge that having the capability for extreme violence is often necessary.
This is a fact that brings me no pleasure.
I wish I could still be so idyllic as to think otherwise.
Technological and logistical advancements are often perpetuated on the back on a warship.
I would posit; Though the first truly inter-system starships may not be riddled with guns and defenses, the first inter-galactic starships will be.
We had to carve out our living space on this world we call Earth.
To think we wouldn't need to do the same out in the cosmos is rather foolhardy.
In short, I love my warships and warbirds, without apology.
~A man that is incapable of violence is not Peaceful; he is harmless.
