But I'm thankful to them both for their contributions over the years,

Saidit wasn't archivable on demand since when insane Cloudflare settings were set - from Jan 2024 that is. Before that I archived my profile regularly at least, and archive.org has web spiders, so some posts were archived automatically before that.

This is the problem with the cloudflare. I had multiple notes in my task system to copy Saidit's data. But then I realized, oh, I can't do that in a reasonable way because of the cloudflare. He needed to create a second portal without too much cloudflare that was accessible only to aged users.
Impressive that Wayback managed to get the posts too. We should scrape Wayback. It would be cool if we could download the collection instead of manually scraping it. Cause I don't have time for that ATM.

Every month I'm distributing Druthers (Canadian and global news) - and in Windsor we're (slowly) working on local-newsletters, freedom-related ad-sheets, and info-pamphlets to insert into Druthers or hand out in person - all shared on Projex.Wiki.
So he's negated what he said earlier, "paying for everything". The first 3 years there was something to support. The mismanagement is why support dropped off. M7's ego chose to take on the burden himself - he could have delegated, and management could have improved.

But I doubt he will make any effort to share what our community created with the community. He could even hand a backup over to someone trusted to prep and host it as a time capsule. (It would also be nice to log in to get to private conversations, but that might be a stretch too far.) Another domain running the SaidIt software locking everyone out with the database implanted likely sounds easier than done - but maybe someone might want to do that. If he doesn't provide a backup, then all this is lost forever unless it happens to be backed-up on the WayBack Machine that censors.
This clearly egotistical idiocy is where a TrustedTeam™ could have been helpful (consult, investigate, neutral parties correspondence, mitigate public relations, tech, etc.) to fix the site, fix the community culture, and make one more inspiring example to resist tyranny.

M7 didn't monopolize Reddit clone concepts, and alternatives already existed. So, it's unreasonable to suggest he was under any obligation to surrender his website property to any person or persons for the interests of anyone.
I won't bring up the specifics of the past, but you and I know that your actions rubbed him the wrong way when you first arrived. It was entertaining from my perspective, but I wouldn't have been entertained if I was in his shoes.

False. In 2018 and well into 2019 I got to know more of M7 than most later folks ever saw. I redid the logo in Jan 2019 but I don't think he implemented it until March or maybe even May, for whatever delay reason I never heard. It wasn't until late spring or early summer when he turned very sour on me. It was terribly hard for me at the time to deal with, but I bounced back, and refused to let his or anyone's shit bother me like that again. I still don't know what instigated that sourness, but I am among DOZENS of people who M7 was all chummy with for a few months then turned very sour on. I don't know why.
