What if Alzheimer's has more than one cause? It could be a confluence of negative factors. Just because we have one model that we're 70% sure about, it doesn't mean reducing brain swelling can't help.

This seems to be that they open the lymphatic system so it can drain toxic waste out of the brain. What is that toxic waste? Imo it's from viruses or germs in the brain that attack brain cells, killing them, the brain needs that waste out just like any waste in the body, but if there are too many viruses or germs than the system can take care of, it backs up, like plumbing systems in a house.

This surgery might be dangerous or risky. But I know some doctors recommend you massage your neck where your lymph nodes are to help "break up" the detritus to help it move. This helps people with long covid or lyme.

The article itself has a healthy dose of skepticism and acknowledges that more studies are needed. I still thought it was interesting and worth sharing.

I'm less trusting I think first paragraph shoulda been a tip-off. Again tho if it's tested and all true? Then I'm all for it. I'll be first to admit it's great.
