This is one of the reasons a grade school education is one of the most important requirements of government spending. When lies about history are spread, consider how easy it is for the wealthy assholes to fund massive misinformation campaigns that manupulate people with other lies about history. They did so in the 1890s-early 1930s, and are doing it again. This is why it's so important today to understand the facts. Misinterpreting the New Deal has dire consequences for interepreting the abuses of the wealthy today. The history of the New Deal and what caused it is not difficult to learn about. One would start with the abandonment of the Reconstruction by Republicans. A good book on it is Richardson's 'The Death of Reconstruction' (2001). After that, Liaquat Ahamed's 'Lords of Finance: The Bankers Who Broke the World' (2009) should be read. Thirdly, Rauchway's 'Why the New Deal Matters', though the bibliography for New Deal history books is massive.

The options are:

Defunding K-12 education while claiming that students become political drones when they receive an education, so that they do not understand much of anything and cannot contribute anything worthwhile in society or the workforce.
Helping students understand how to make decisions and how to identify lies and fallacies, and how to be competitive in the current economy by increasing funding for their education so that they learn how to understand reading, writing, history, biology, mathematics, languages, chemsitry, civics, geography, gymnastics, theatre, music, etc.

Boomers had the benefit of the latter, and 30% of them are now OK with destroying that for young people.

Most important, rather than paying top down bureaucracies, red tape, and middle management, the money should be controlled by the communities to directly pay for teachers, classes, and supplies properly.

Clearly the Boomers weren't as well educated as we'd like. They were psy-oped by Rock & Roll, the Hippie Movement, Disco Culture, Yuppie Lifestyle, and television beyond retirement, while doing little to nothing to stop the deep state from getting us to where we are now, having bulldozed over endless suffering casualties along the way.

I'm a big fan of Finnish people and their approaches.

Anyhow, AI tells me that: "The Finnish school system is

Thanks, though... separation of church and state is one of the most important fundamental aspects of a fuctional democracy. Educating the populace is another fundamental aspect.

Catholic school - is religious, usually costly, and separates the sexes into different schools, so that they become promiscuous asshats when they're out of school; nor do they understand science

French-immersion - never heard of it and it's probably not available most places, and it involves French stuff that my uneducated mind cannot understand

home-school - absolutely pathetic and always fucks up the kids, who cannot spell or function in society thereafter. Republicans LOVE this kind of "school" because these idiots are rejected by everyone except far right social media that tells them that all their problems are due to brown people, not the fact that they're blooming idiots.

Montessori - fancy pants special treatment for kids that I know very little about but have met some of their fancy pants graduates who have the egos the size of small planets; no thanks

private school - expensive, only for people with lots of money, and everyone else can fuck off; whereas the people with lots of money these days are causing all of our problems in society

Sunday school - religious; see also Catholic school

Biden helped creat the most jobs, compared to all other presidents. (No jobs under Trump admin.)
